282-A:84 Emergency Power

Should the commissioner determine at any time that the solvency of the fund is in jeopardy and the continuation of merit rates is in danger, he shall add to every employer’s contribution rate .5 percent in order to preserve the merit rate principle in this state and continue the solvency of the unemployment compensation fund. He may either concurrently or independently suspend the operation of RSA 282-A:82.
